Diversity Leadership Retreat
Diversity Breakfast SeriesDiversity Leadership Retreat
A three day residential retreat where individuals learn new diversity leadership skills to help lead your organization to use new models of communicating, collaborating and decision-making. Be part of the solution to turn calcification into creativity and prejudice into promise.
When Minds Open, Brilliance Pours In.
The capacity for social change is cultivated at the Healing the Heart of Diversity Retreat Series. New ways to think and speak about diversity issues are learned. Thinking is challenged while professional and personal competencies are expanded. Learning is empowered by the collective wisdom of the participants. This rare experience opens minds, unfurls creativity and ushers in a new era of organizational development and cultural change. In the workplace, the team's capacity and the individual's competence increases. Everyone profits.
Transformative Learning
In an atmosphere of respect and safety, we examine the source of the ‘isms, subtle and overt, that limit individual, team and organizational effectiveness. Manifestations of racism, sexism, ageism, class-ism, even pessimism, are uprooted from unlikely hiding places and acknowledged. Collaboratively, participants work through these and other ‘ism‘ themes. They gain a deeper understanding of the issues, each other, and how to confidently manage diverse relationships for optimum outcomes. They return to the workplace with new strategies and sharpened skills for successful diversity leadership. Participants experience a renewed passion for their work
