Diversity is the Reality of Wholeness...
Healing the Heart of Diversity® (HHD), is anchored in the assumption-diversity is wholeness. The experience of HHD calls forth the deeper dimensions of the Institute's purpose and mission to be lived and practiced in and beyond the lives and work of professional leaders engaged in social change leadership. To achieve social change, these professional leaders, representing diverse fields of commitment, focus their workplace and community actions on organizational development, cultural change and cultural diversity.
Healing the Heart of Diversity® is a process vehicle for personal transformation and formation, creating an environment that fosters change rather than being an agent of change. Participants are the instruments of change by their own choices. The HHD experience creates a safe space for participants to do "their own work." This work includes gaining access to their spiritual selves and discovering the inner barriers that inhibit their wholeness in outer relationship with self and others. The outcome in this process is rich for healing and change to occur. Authentic renewal within, reconnection to purpose, and a closer relationship to the Divine and the Divine within, are also expressed in many diverse ways. Cultural transformation can become a reality when those who "do their own work" apply their personal HHD transformational experience in their outer lives and work.
